Maheshwar Singh (founder) has been an avid consumer of specialty coffee and tea for over a decade. He fondly remembers the first time he had tasted high quality tea and coffee and was awestruck at the amount of flavor complexity that they could offer. From floral notes, to honey, caramel, chocolate, and berries - the world of coffee and tea has a flavor that is appealing for every person's palette.

After experiencing too many commercial teas and coffees that lacked character or where producers had simply burned away all the delicate flavors, Maheshwar set out on a personal mission. He wanted to roast coffee and source tea in ways that preserved their natural beauty and intricate flavor profiles. This passion and dedication gave birth to Iron Dragon Coffee & Tea Co.
